How do I calculate revenue lost to missed calls?
Multiply your missed calls by the share of callers who would have booked, then by your average job value. 15 missed calls a week is about 65 a month. If 1 in 3 of those callers would have booked a $650 job, that is about $13,943 a month.
What booking rate should I use?
Your own. Take the calls your team answered last month and count how many became booked jobs. If you don't track it, the calculator shows 1 in 5, 1 in 3, and 1 in 2 so you can see how much the answer moves. Those are scenarios for the math, not industry benchmarks.
Do callbacks close the gap?
Some of it. Enter the share of missed callers you already reach and book with a callback, and the calculator takes them out. What's left is what the gap costs you.
How does Braive help with missed calls?
Braive is a Revenue Operations Team for service businesses. We set up AI that responds to new calls and web leads right away, including after hours, and keeps following up when a lead goes quiet, so fewer jobs go to whoever answered first.
